Business:  Adjunct Assistant Professor.

The State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Management
seeks applicants for a full time non-tenure track faculty position to
begin spring semester, January 2013. The selected candidate will be
expected to teach the standard course load of four sections per
semester involving predominantly technology-mediated instruction, but
may also include traditional classroom delivery; engage in curriculum
development/improvement, and contribute to the intellectual life of
the department, school and university. Most of the course assignments
will be in areas relating to probability, statistics, quantitative
analysis and data modeling using well-known productivity software at
the undergraduate level with possible opportunities at the graduate
level. The expectation is that the faculty member will not only focus
on teaching but also contribute to the overall goals of the
department, the school and the university. Contribution to the goals
of the school can be in the form of advising or helping with program
development as assigned by the chair of the department and is normal
for other faculty hired in the School of Management in a similar
capacity.  Minimum Qualifications: Masters Degree in Statistics,
Business Management or a related discipline, evidence of teaching
excellence, and three years teaching experience. Applicants should
indicate in the resume all statistics courses taken as a student
and/or taught as an instructor at both undergraduate and graduate
levels of one’s study. Experience in video instruction, teaching
experience in a business school or business classes, and/or the
instruction of large groups of learners is preferred.
