[AISWorld] Invitation to co-guide a Ph.D. student

 Dear fellow IS colleagues
One of my Ph.D. students is proposing to work on Big Data and its applications in business.The research will be primarily India centric but since Big Data is still nascent in Indian companies he will need inputs from international organisations.My Institute has a policy of forming a Thesis Advisory Committee which will include me and another colleague from outside my Institute who would advise this student.Would anyone with this experience and perspective like to join the Thesis Advisory Committee of this student? The responsibility would be to attend the TAC meetings (about twice in an year and which could be done through Skype) and provide useful suggestions and inputs to the student which he could use in his research.It will be rewarding for many of you outside India to get to know about India and Indian IT.
