The Centre for Leadership & Innovation
(CLI)<http://www.polyu.edu.hk/mm/cli/en/home/index.html>is proud to
present the
*CLI Research Symposium*: “*New Frontier of Leadership” *to be held on 22
February 2013 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

The conference theme, “New Frontier of Leadership,” reflects the new trends
and issues in current and future leadership research. Through the Centre’s
various activities, we strive to learn, accumulate, advance, and
disseminate knowledge about leadership. In today’s dynamic, uncertain,
interdependent global economy, organizations can gain competitive advantage
by gaining new perspective and expertise on leading and advancing knowledge
on change management. This conference will enable scholars and
practitioners to create insightful dialogue and advance knowledge related
to this important mission.

*Registration*

This is a one day event. Registration is free and by-invitation-only. Seats
are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please secure
your seat early by filling out the attached registration form and return
the filled form to cheriann.wong at polyu.edu.hk before 8 February 2013.



*Call for Abstracts*



We are calling for abstracts in the area of leadership research!

* *

•        *Submission Deadline:* 21 Jan 2013

•        *Withdrawal Deadline:* 1 Feb 2013

•        *Notification of Acceptance:* 8 Feb 2013

Your abstract should be within 200 to 500 words. All abstracts must be
submitted by email to cheriann.wong at polyu.edu.hk before 21 Jan 2013. If you
submitted an abstract, but for some reasons will not be able to present at
the symposium, please let us know no later than 1 Feb 2013. Notification of
acceptance will be sent to you by 8 Feb 2013. Accepted abstracts will be
assigned to one of the follow conference sessions by our reviewers:

*1.) Panel Presentation*

A group of four researchers will each make a 10-minute presentation on a
similar topic to be followed by questions from the moderator and the
audiences.

*2.) Round Table Discussion*

Abstracts with similar interests will be grouped together at one table for
focused discussion with other discussants and participants.

*3.) Poster Session*

The research abstract will be illustrated and printed on an A1 sized
poster. During the poster session, the researcher will be standing by his
poster and discuss his work with any interested participants.
