     Dear Professor,

     It is our pleasure to invite you to consider submitting to Tékhne - 
Review of Applied Management Studies, a scientific journal property of 
the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, which aims to publish 
original articles in various areas of management, including accounting 
and auditing, management control, taxation, finance, strategy and 
marketing, organizational behavior, management information systems and law.

     The journal, published twice a year, aims to provide a forum for 
publication and dissemination of scientific research conducted in the 
fields of management, as well as to promote the interconnection of 
academic research with practical reality. It is intended to disseminate 
the scientific results obtained by academics and professionals, both 
nationally or internationally.

     Submitted papers must be original, and will be subject of a double 
blind review process.

     The journal is published by Elsevier and can be accessed online at:
