The Department of Information and Process Management at Bentley University invites applications for a tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor level starting in the fall of 2014. We are looking for candidates whose research interests lie in information management, preferably with a strong focus on the role of Information Technology in process management, within and between organizations. We are seeking a candidate who has a doctoral degree and demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence in both research and teaching. A qualified candidate should also have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, an ability to thrive in a cross-cultural environment, and be able to interact effectively with educators, business professionals, administrators, and students. The ability to teach in a variety of formats, including day, evening, weekend and online courses, is expected.

The IPM department plays an important role in supporting the university's mission of blending business, technology and the liberal arts. The department offers courses in the business core at both graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as a variety of courses for undergraduate majors (Information Systems Audit and Control and Business ICT) and a minor (IPM), MBA and MS programs, and the PhD in Business. Courses include business process management, strategic information management, information security, information privacy, enterprise systems configuration, and business intelligence. The department is a leading proponent of Bentley's participation in the SAP University Alliance program. The department also plays a prominent role in the University's PhD program in Business
(including teaching one of the core courses on Information Systems and supervising students with interests in information management).
