Join Accenture's Institute for High Performance (AIHP) and become part of a richly diverse and creative team dedicated to transforming business and improving the lives of people around the world.
The AIHP has an opening for a Strategic Technology research fellow/manager based in (priority order of preference) San Jose, California; San Francisco, California; Boston, Massachusetts; Mumbai, India. The role offers the opportunity to work with an extraordinarily accomplished group of people spread across the planet who are passionately dedicated to unearthing new ideas about how we do business and deliver public services.
The AIHP (www.accenture.com/institute) is a global "think and act" tank. We create strategic insights into key management issues and macroeconomic and political trends through original research and analysis. But we thrive most when we test our ideas in the crucible of interaction with Accenture clients, policymakers and professional peers. Our work regularly appears in the world's leading business print and online publications, and influences executives, business thinkers and clients across the globe. The AIHP has research teams based in Boston, Beijing, London, Mumbai and Sao Paolo, and works in collaboration with Accenture's Technology Labs based in San Jose.
The person in this pivotal mid-level manager role will bring fresh thinking about disruptive technological changes and what they mean for global businesses and governments. For example, we are currently tackling topics like the digital consumer experience in rural markets, the future of manufacturing in an era of intelligent digital processes and the business horizon beyond big data.
Research Fellows in the AIHP typically have deep analytical, research and writing skills and the energy to craft new perspectives on the use of information technology. We seek people who care deeply about how disruptive digital technologies, including consumer, analytic and social technologies, will lead to innovative new business and public sector strategies, management practices and ways of working.
Candidates must demonstrate experience producing ideas and relevant research findings for business executives, and the ability to write clearly and persuasively on technology topics for management audiences. Other requirements include a demonstrated ability to conduct primary and secondary research, experience in the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods, and competence in multivariate statistics and statistical analysis software.
