The Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management at Ryerson
University (www.ryerson.ca/itm) in Toronto invites applications for a
tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The area of
specialization is big data analytics and infrastructure. The successful
candidate will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate
courses in data analytics, database management and enterprise data
architecture.
The position will commence July 1st, 2014 (subject to budgetary approval).
Candidates will hold a PhD in computer science or a related field. The
successful candidate should demonstrate evidence of high-quality teaching, a
strong research profile and an emerging scholarly record, as well as the
capacity for collegial service. Applications should include a letter of
application, a curriculum vitae, two recent writing samples, results of
teaching surveys (or equivalent evidence such as a teaching dossier), and
the contact information for three referees.
The Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management, consisting of 18
tenure stream faculty members, prides itself both on the quality of its
teaching and the breadth and excellence of its research. The school is

Communication Technologies) integrated business competencies to support
