The Williamson College of Business Administration (AACSB accredited) is seeking a faculty member in Management with
specialization in Operations / Supply Chain Management. The selected candidate will be expected to teach in undergraduate and
graduate courses in Operations Management, Business Process Integration, Supply Chain Management, etc. Integration of ERP
systems into the curriculum is a high priority strategic goal of the department and the candidate is expected to provide significant
support and contribution toward this goal. The faculty member is expected to conduct research in the field and related areas in
management leading to publications in high quality refereed journals; participate in department, college and university level service
activities including those related to curriculum development and outreach activities that involve undergraduate and graduate
students with the business community.
Qualifications: Ph.D./DBA in supply chain or operations management or a related area from an AACSB accredited institution.
Candidates in the dissertation phase will also be considered if their degree will be completed before joining YSU in August 2014.
Teaching Experience and refereed journal publications in Operations/Supply Chain Management areas preferred. Experience in
business or working with the business community also preferred. The successful applicant must possess strong communication skills.
Position Available: August 15, 2014. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Youngstown State University is a comprehensive, urban research university in northeast Ohio, centrally located between Cleveland
and Pittsburgh. YSU has a student body of 14,000 students enrolled in six undergraduate colleges and the School of Graduate
Studies. The Youngstown metropolitan area has a population of about 600,000, with a broad racial and ethnic mix and rich cultural
heritage.
The Williamson College of Business Administration (WCBA) offers the MBA (on-campus and online) and the BSBA with majors in
accounting, advertising/public relations, business economics, finance, general business, human resource management, international
business, management information systems, and marketing. The WCBA is composed of three academic departments (Lariccia
School of Accounting and Finance, Department of Management, Department of Marketing) housing forty full-time faculty members,
four professional academic advisors, a Professional Practice Program Coordinator and internship advisor, the Center for Nonprofit
Leadership, the Williamson Center for International Business, the Monus Entrepreneurship Center, and the YSU Small Business
Development Center. Undergraduate enrollment is approximately 1600 and MBA enrollment is approximately 140. The
WCBA’s international business initiatives have been awarded an Ohio Center of Excellence designation by the Ohio Board of
Regents.
Current members of the WCBA faculty have graduated from leading business schools such as Purdue, Ohio State, University of
Illinois, University of Pittsburgh, University of Washington, and Boston University. In recent years, our faculty published in journals
such as Strategic Management Journal, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice, Journal
of General Management, Managerial and Decision Economics, etc. Our faculty members have also been active in securing
substantial grants from both public as well as private funding agencies such as the U.S. Department of Education and the Kaufmann
Foundation.
