As you may recall, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Web. The July
issue of Computing Now <http://www.computer.org/computingnow>  commemorates
the Web's anniversary by highlighting its genesis, progress, and potential.
This issue,
<http://www.computer.org/portal/web/computingnow/archive/july2014> Web @ 25
and Beyond, guest edited by me, comprises editor's intro, six selected
articles that were already published in IEEE Computer Society (CS) magazines
and an early Web pioneer Bebo White's views (video).   All the articles are
free access for the next 2-3 weeks or more.
