[AISWorld] MIS Position at SUNY-Binghamton

The School of Management at Binghamton University (State University of New
York at Binghamton) seeks to fill a position at the assistant professor
level in the MIS area starting in the fall of 2016, pending budget
approval.

Research should primarily focus on one or more of the following:
information systems leadership, information systems alignment, virtual
teams/computer-mediated communication, social networking, and online
learning.  Preference will be given to candidates who study these and other
allied topics in the healthcare context.  The teaching component (2 + 2)
requires delivering required/elective courses in management information
systems at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels.

Binghamton University (State University of New York) has been consistently
ranked among the top 50 public universities by the U.S. News & World Report
over the past decade. The School of Management is AACSB accredited and is
nationally recognized for its success in developing future leaders of
business. In its 2015 rankings, Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranked the
undergraduate program in the top-25 among public business schools and the
U.S. News & World Report ranked the MBA program in the top-50 among public
business schools.  Located three hours from NYC and one hour from Syracuse
and Ithaca, Binghamton is a low-cost-of-living area with approximately

Candidates must have a completed PhD by 9/1/16 in MIS.  The candidate
should be able to demonstrate the ability to publish in the top MIS
journals, as well as the ability to deliver top-quality classroom
