Dear All:
The Workshop on Business Processes and Services (SIGBPS) will be held on

You are invited to submit your paper to "Business Analytics and Business
Value" Track.

Here is the description of "Business Analytics and Business Value" Track.
With increased access to enormous data sets and sophisticated business
analytical tools, firms are at an unprecedented position to harness the
tremendous potential of these data to improve day-to-day decision making.
Applications of business analytics extend to nearly all managerial
functions in a firm, including marketing, operation management, accounting
and finance, health care etc. Despite the well-touted benefits of business
analytics, many key questions still need investigation, such as how to
organize and manage massive volumes of data effectively, how to apply
analytics techniques and software tools to obtain business intelligence,
and how business analytics impacts firms' performance and their competitive
situations. We invite both scholars and practitioners to discuss the
various ways and means to co-create and capture business value from
business analytics in terms of new business opportunities, improved
performance, competitive advantage, etc. Multidisciplinary collaboration is
highly encouraged. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- Business value of business analytics
- Social media, cloud computing and business analytics
- Business analytics-enabled business process innovation
- Big data-driven decision making
- Security and privacy issues in business analytics
- The application of business analytics in public sectors
- Unstructured or semi-structured data mining
- Organizational challenges of business analytics
