The School of Management (SOM) in Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT)
invites applications for open rank faculty positions in the field of
Information Systems and Operations Management. We welcome applications for
faculty positions at the rank of *Assistant Professor*, *Associate
Professor*, and/or *Full Professor*. Salary for open rank positions is
competitive and will be negotiable on a case to case basis. Roughly, the
annual salary for open rank faculty positions ranges from *RMB 300,000* to *RMB
800,000*, depending on the candidate's qualification and experience.



We are particularly interested in candidates who conduct high-quality
scholarly research in the following area:

  (1) Big data driven management and decision making patterns

  (2) Data analytics

  (3) Internet-based finance services

  (4) Crowd-funding and crowdsourcing





*QUALIFICATION*

(1)   An earned Ph.D. degree in Information Systems, Operations Management,
or a closely related field at the time of appointment from an AACSB
accredited institution; those with ABD status will be considered at the
application/interviewing stage.

(2)   A record of high quality scholarship or evidence of the ability to
publish research in high quality journals is required

(3)   A demonstration of effective teaching is preferred

Harbin Institute of Technology was founded in 1920. In 1999, HIT was listed

Management at HIT is one of earliest four management schools established in
