[AISWorld] New Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand

The School of Information Management is opening new programmes. In 2016 we will begin offering a Master in Business Analysis, in the new ICT Grad School in Wellington. To enable this growth we recently hired two new academic staff. We now seek another passionate and motivated Information Systems scholar to build their career and to help us support this growth. The appointee will be expected to start in the second half of 2016.

The successful appointee will be an active researcher with a solid record of research and scholarship activity demonstrated by peer-reviewed journal publications commensurate with their experience. We welcome applications from across the entire Information Systems spectrum as the School is looking to expand its academic skillset.

Candidates should have the ability to teach across managerial and technically oriented Information Systems courses. Experience in successfully integrating industry projects and other forms of industry collaboration in courses and programmes is sought.

The School is responsible for teaching Information Systems as part of the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Honours/Masters of Commerce (MCom), Masters of Information Management (MIM) and the new Masters of Professional Business Analysis (MBusAn). The school also has a very active Master's and PhD research programme in this discipline.

The School of Information Management is located in the Victoria Business School in New Zealand's capital city and its downtown location offers exceptional opportunities to develop close links with business and government.
