As we move into our second year of publication at AIS Transactions on Replication Research, we would like to invite you to submit your papers to the journal, and to join us this summer at workshops, paper sessions, and informal discussions at ECIS, PACIS, and AMCIS. Joe Valacich is stepping down as Co-EIC but is remaining as an SE, so we look forward to his continued leadership in replication research.
We're pleased to announce that Sue Brown will be moving from SE to Co-EIC. Sue is the McClelland Professor of Management Information Systems in the Eller College of the University of Arizona. Her research interests include technology implementation, individual adoption, computer-mediated communication, technology-mediated learning, and related topics. She has received funding for her research from the National Science Foundation, and other public and private organizations. Her work has appeared in leading journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Communications of the ACM, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, and others. She is currently an SE at MIS Quarterly. She has received numerous awards for her reviewing and editorial board work.
If you are thinking of doing a replication - or encouraging your students to do one - please feel free to email us if you have questions.
Alan, Joe & Sue
