The Information Systems & Decision Sciences (ISDS) department at USF's Muma College of Business is currently accepting applications for a tenured/tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor opening in MIS starting Fall 2017. We prefer candidates with a track record of publishing in premier academic journals such as MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and/or Management Science, and a behavioral research focus. Additionally, candidates at associate level may also require grant funding experience. The ISDS department is one of the top 25 research programs in information systems in the world, with a large diverse faculty specializing in all areas of contemporary information systems research from technical to behavioral. We have a collegial group of faculty members who are nationally and internationally recognized for their research, are actively involved in publishing in our top journals, and several of them are current editorial board members of the top journals in the discipline. The department has a fairly large MS in MIS program with a 100% placement rate; our students are placed in companies like Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, Verizon, Deloitte, and many others. We also an undergraduate program in MIS and a Ph.D. Program. We are also actively engaged in our local community, with partnerships that provide collaborative opportunities and data for our research, internship and placement opportunities for our students, and additional revenue opportunity for our department.
