Renewing the IT Curriculum:
Responding to Agile, DevOps, and Digital Transformation

This summer, a group of faculty from the Minnesota State System and other institutions, working under the sponsorship of Advance IT Minnesota, developed a working paper in response to current trends in IT, such as Agile, DevOps, and Digital Transformation. The report identifies five competency areas that IT, IS, and computing educators should consider in designing next-generation curricula:

? Dynamic infrastructure and operations
? Continuous delivery
? Product management
? Resource and execution management
? Organization and culture

The report documents the background of Agile and DevOps, proposes new learning objectives based on documented industry sources, and offers suggestions on courses and labs. Access the free report at:
