Track: Human Capital in Information Systems (SIGLEAD)

Aims and Scope:
The IS Career Development mini-track in Human Capital in IS is aimed at better understanding the relationship between the IS professional at all hierarchical levels and the organization. This mini-track welcomes research that address issues within the IS workforce, talent management, career streams, professional developments, work/family balance of IS professionals, as well as ethical, societal, and legal issues related to managing IS professionals, among others. Research on attracting students to the IS profession, global talent management, and developing a more diverse IS professional workforce are also welcomed. Possible topics include IS professional identity, workforce Issues, diversity in the IS profession, global talent management, training and career issues, amongst others.
