The 2017 Annual Meeting of Midwest Decision Sciences Institute (MWDSI) will be held at Grand Valley State University. Grand Rapids, MI. Grand Rapids was ranked One of The New York Times 52 Places to Go in 2016 and the #1 U.S. travel destination in 2014. (http://www.experiencegr.com/).

Sessions will begin Friday morning and wrap up Saturday at 2 p.m. All conference attendees are invited to the President’s luncheon on Friday afternoon and President’s reception on Friday evening at the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum.  Other highlights of the conference include:

·         Keynote and panel presentations by distinguished academicians and practitioners, Career Development: A Town Hall Q&A Session on Growing Professionally with Senior Leaders of the Decision Sciences Institute (Jeet Gupta: 2016-2017 President, Fellow, and Dennis E. Grawoig Distinguished Service Award Recipient; Ram Narasimhan: Fellow, Past President, Past Editor of Decision Sciences, and Dennis E. Grawoig Distinguished Service Award Recipient; and Johnny Rungtusanatham, Past Program Chair, Past Interim Executive Director, and Dennis E. Grawoig Distinguished Service Award Recipient);
·         Applied Problem Solving Student Team Competition in Integrated Supply Chain Management; Hands‐on Workshops and Electronic Proceedings.

Competitive Papers; Abstracts; Student Papers; Symposia, Tutorials, and Workshops on all topics relevant to business are encouraged. Those focusing on the 2017 theme are especially welcome. Submissions will undergo a double-blind review process.  Please submit papers directly to the track chairs.  See the conference website for contact information.
