Scandinavian Conference on Information Systems.

The events take place in Halden, Norway, from August 6th to August 9th
2017. Call for papers, important dates and other practical
information can be found here: https://blogg.hiof.no/iris2017/

 - IRIS submission deadline: May 1st
 - SCIS submission deadline March 22nd

This year's event theme is "Challenging smart", timely in a society
which is rapidly being digitized, often referred to as the
introduction of smart technologies. Our community has a
responsibility to ask the large and difficult questions, like "What
does "smart" mean in this context? For whom is the technology smart?
In what way is it smart? What should we expect from the organizations
and businesses involved in this development, and what does it mean to
be a resident in a smart society?"

We warmly welcome you and your research, on the #ChallengingSmart
theme, or other information systems research in the Scandinavian
tradition, to Halden, Norway in August 2017.

#ChallengingSmart - IRIS40 - SCIS8 - Halden, Norway, August 2017

On behalf of the organizing committee,
Harald Holone
