The vacancy at the Department of Computer Science is open to outstanding individuals who hold a doctorate and are interested in an excellent opportunity to pursue a successful scientific career. The call is open on all levels of the tenure track system: Assistant, Associate and Full Professor. While we expect most successful applicants to have carried out at least one postdoctoral period, all outstanding candidates will be considered. We especially welcome applications from applicants in early stages of their careers. Industry experience is considered a merit but not mandatory.
The tenure-track position in large-scale data-intensive systems is focused on the development of large-scale data storage and processing needed for modern data-intensive applications, including on-line analytical or transaction processing systems. Topics can include but are not limited to
