Funding for this position is available for one year only. We seek candidates with a deep commitment to teaching.

 Job Responsibilities:

The new hire will teach 7 courses (3 credit hours each) during a 9-month appointment and provide service to the department on a 70/30 ratio. Instructors are participating members of the faculty. In addition to teaching (70% time) and advising students, they are expected to provide service contributions (30% time) both internally to the university and/or business school and externally to the community and/or profession. They are also expected to maintain their academic and/or professional qualification.

 Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Required qualifications for the position include master's or higher degree in Information Systems. Preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience, professional experience, and a record of professional practice in Information Systems. Prior teaching experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Web and Mobile Application Development using programming languages such as Objective C, JAVA Script, JAVA, HTML5, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Data Base Management Systems, or Cyber Security at graduate and undergraduate levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred qualification is a Ph.D. or DBA in Information Systems (or related field) from an AACSB accredited university. Excellence in teaching is expected at the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Salary and Benefits:
