Applications are invited for a suitably qualified candidate for the position of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Information Systems (expertise in Supply Chain Management is a bonus) at AUT Business School.

The Department of Business Information Systems (BIS) has an established PhD programme, offers a Masters' degree specialisation and oversees the information systems major in the AUT Bachelor of Business. The BIS team is a dynamic group of scholars that actively engages with relevant scholarly conversations and has a passion for teaching. We actively conduct research on different aspects of information systems at the individual, organisational and societal levels, such as IT governance, ICT for wellbeing and development, operations, logistics and supply chain management.
We are seeking a candidate who has an interesting research profile and a commitment to excellence in teaching. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to engage in rigorous and relevant research that produces publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Candidates for the Senior Lecturer position must have a proven, solid research record of high quality publications with important theoretical contribution in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate their dedication to teaching activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Experience in innovative teaching practices will be an advantage. The ideal candidate should be able to teach courses in information systems; the ability to teach courses in supply chain management would be a bonus. Most importantly, we seek individuals who act with integrity, practise collegiality and value respect among peers and stakeholders.
Qualifications: A completed (or close to completion) PhD in Information Systems or related discipline, a demonstrated ability to conduct high quality research, and evidence of excellence in teaching excellence - or the ability to develop such excellence.
