The College of Business at Iowa State University is now accepting applications for a full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to teach multiple sections or courses in Java and Python at the undergraduate or graduate level in Management Information Systems, starting in August 2017. The successful candidate will be able to deliver using one or more of the following modes: online, on campus, blended, or flipped; and participate in department service activities as required including advising undergrad students. The position also includes a research component, requiring the faculty member to maintain either Scholarly Academic or Practice Academic status per AACSB accreditation standards.

A Master's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field from a nationally or internationally accredited university is required for this position. A doctoral degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. The candidate must have teaching experience in introduction to programming, preferably using Java and Python. For those applying at the Senior Lecturer level, a minimum of 6 years of teaching experience within higher education is required, in addition to the above.
