The Society for Information Management's EA Working Group is in search of new leadership. This is a great opportunity for someone (be they academic or practitioner) to help define the direction of this largely practitioner group. Since its founding about a decade ago, the SIMEAWG has conducted a couple of studies on EA practices that resulted in two doctoral dissertations, several articles, and a book (The SIM Guide to Enterprise Architecture, CRC Press). Through its research, writings, conference presentations, and meetings, the EAWG has helped IT professionals all over the world take a more holistic approach to the management of IT and organizations. If you're interested in this opportunity to lead one of SIM's national programs, please contact Veronica Sullivan at SIM HQ vsullivan at simnet.org<mailto:vsullivan at simnet.org>.
"With no sense of shame, there is no sense of honor. There is no mercy. There is no charity. There is no forgiveness. There is no loyalty. There is no courage. There is no service. There are no ties that bind us as citizens, as fellow pack members seeking to achieve something bigger and more important.... Something bigger like, you know, liberty and justice for all." - Ben Hunt
