The Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business, invites applications for one or two tenure-track positions in Information Systems at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level to begin January 2019 or August 2019, subject to availability of budget.
*Minimum Requirements
A Ph.D. in Information Systems or a related area is required or must be obtained within a first academic year of employment. Candidates who have already obtained their Ph.D. are preferred, but ABD's will be considered. Candidates should be proficient in online and face-to-face teaching for both graduate and undergraduate audiences.
*Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be able to teach at least in two of the following information systems areas including database, virtualization, analytics, visualization and software development. A focused research agenda with an established record of publication or strong potential for publication is expected.
*The Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain department
The Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain department supports the Bachelor of Science with concentrations in Business Analytics, Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. At the graduate level, the department supports the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems and upcoming M.S. Business Analytics.
