[AISWorld] Call for Nominations: AIS Co-Chair for the ACM-AIS Undergraduate Curriculum Recommendation Task Force (Due August 26, 2018)

Dear members of the IS community:

Based on the recommendation of an exploratory review task force, AIS and
ACM have decided to launch a comprehensive review and revision of the IS
2010 undergraduate curriculum recommendation. In its June 2018 meeting, the
AIS Council approved funding for three fiscal years (2018-2021) for this
purpose; ACM has made a similar funding commitment. As with the recent
graduate level MSIS 2016 effort, this will be a broad-based, global
community initiative led by a joint ACM-AIS task force.

AIS is seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for the role of the
AIS Co-Chair of this task force. The AIS Co-Chair will be working closely
together with the ACM Co-Chair to lead the task force and ensure successful
completion of the project on schedule. Based on the nominations, the AIS
Education Committee will select the AIS Co-Chair. The selection criteria
including the following:

1) AIS membership
2) Faculty member at an institution of higher education
3) At least five years of experience in teaching undergraduate courses in IS
4) Demonstrated experience with developing curricula for undergraduate
level IS program(s)
5) Demonstrated interest and expertise in IS education

This is an exciting and challenging leadership role that requires a
significant time commitment for the duration of the entire project.

To nominate either yourself or somebody else, please submit the nominee's
CV and a cover letter describing the nominee's qualifications for the role
(addressing, at the minimum, the criteria above) to Heikki Topi (
htopi at bentley.edu), AIS VP of Education, by *August 26, 2018.*
