Terrorism (ADCFCT) Book Series.
ISSN: 2327-0381
The Advances in Digital Crime, Forensics, and Cyber Terrorism (ADCFCT) Book
Series seeks to publish the latest research in diverse fields pertaining to
crime, warfare, terrorism and forensics in the digital sphere. By advancing
research available in these fields, the ADCFCT aims to present researchers,
academicians, and students with the most current available knowledge and
assist security and law enforcement professionals with a better
understanding of the current tools, applications, and methodologies being
implemented and discussed in the field.

Interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research is slowly, yet steadily
revolutionizing traditional education; however, multidisciplinary research
can and will also improve the extent to which a country can protect its
critical and vital assets. The field of intelligence requires focus on the
assessment and resolution of complex problems. The disciplines form the
basis of the protection of a nation; au contraire, the dynamics of the
intelligence field lead to the necessity of raising awareness and placing a
priority on the fostering of more improved ideas through the use of
interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary connections. The intelligence is
not only linked to the scientific discipline as a result of the necessity
to counter nuclear, radioactive, or other similar attacks, but the
underlying basis of science knowledge can further improve intelligence
activities. To ensure that there are improvements in security and
intelligence matters, the necessity of attaining a strong scientific
knowledge must be highlight. This book, "Applying Methods of Scientific
Inquiry into Intelligence, Security, and Counterterrorism," has been
established in order to provide a detailed discussion wherein the ways in
which science can be applied to the intelligence field are explicated. Each
chapter would be focused on highlighting the necessary blend of science and
intelligence activities. Furthermore, the final publication will provide
readers with a thorough understanding of the specific aspects of
intelligence activities that can be improved through the relevant
application of science concepts.
*Objective*
This book will provide personnel directly working in the fields of
intelligence, law enforcement, and science with the opportunity to directly
understand the multidisciplinary nature of intelligence and science. Each
chapter of the book will include individualized discussions of the various
components of science that should be applied to the intelligence arena.
This book will provide an academic, factually-verified foundation upon
which academics and professionals in the aforementioned fields could
improve current intelligence activities and contribute to the protection of
the nation.
*Target Audience*
The target audiences of this book include students, teachers/professors,
and practitioners of intelligence, law enforcement, or any others from
related fields, such as terrorism or national security studies, in addition
to those in any scientific field, such as physics, chemistry, or even
biology.
