[AISWorld] Suggestions of a Good Book to Raise the Digital Literacy of Senior non-IS Executives

I received a string of responses and had the opportunity to engage with some of you off-line.

I’ve collated the suggestions in the attached spreadsheet. The first sheet lists the books, the person suggesting that book, and why that book may be relevant. The second sheet lists articles with similar information. Hope you find the information as useful as I have.

Greetings colleagues

Apologies for the cross-posting.

I am designing an executive education type MIS course for these senior non-IT executives. Most of these executives will be at the boardroom level.  The objective of this course is to teach important IT concepts that impact their organizations, to provide frameworks that help in their management of IT, and to develop “insight and intuition” into IT for competitive advantages.

I am in need of a good book that raises the digital literacy of these non-IT executives. I know of Bob Coppedge’s (2018) A CEO's Survival Guide to Information Technology. If you are using or have used this book in a class/course, I’d love to hear your thoughts about it.

I would also be grateful for suggestions of alternative books that may help these senior executive.
