Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Position in Management Information Systems at Elon University
The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business (LSB) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Management Information Systems starting fall 2019. We seek candidates who are effective teachers, scholars, and mentors to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in data analytics, cyber security, enterprise systems, and Elon's Core Curriculum. We will show preference to candidates who possess an earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited university in the fields of Information Systems, Operations Research, Operations Management, or a related field and who have business analytics teaching and research experience. In addition, the service load will include serving as the Associate Director for the Center for Organizational Analytics supporting the center's activities and partners.
Our faculty are both dynamic teachers who promote engaged learning and leading scholars who publish their work in top journals. To support our teacher/scholar mission, we provide extensive teaching and research development programs, including pre-tenure sabbatical, summer and academic year research grants and course releases, and teaching workshops.
