Management Information Systems at Clemson University
The Clemson MIS group is comprised of research-oriented faculty that actively participate in the MIS research community, holding editorial positions at major MIS journals, program chairs and associate editors at conferences, and active in the peer review process at top MIS journals. In recent years, faculty have published papers in leading MIS journals such as MISQ, ISR, JMIS, JAIS, EJIS, JSIS, and JIT, among others.

The MIS PhD at Clemson takes a balanced methodological approach including econometrics, behavioral and analytical training with an option of specialization in a methods area of preference. In addition, the MIS PhD in the Management Department at Clemson allows for a cross-disciplinary research focusing on IT application in analytics, supply chain, strategy, human resources, and entrepreneurship.

Ph.D. Program
The Management Department offers tracks: MIS, Supply Chain Management, with a third track Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Organization Behavior. The Ph.D. program is purposefully small to ensure an ideal environment for high interaction between faculty and students.
