[AISWorld] Examples of business transformations - a request

Dear colleagues,

We are trying to create a library of patterns of Business Model 
Transformation according to the guidelines suggested in 
http://bit.ly/2HEDThB.

For this, we need examples of transformations completed by companys of a 
radical change sort, more exactly, starting a new business seemingly not 
much connected to a current one.

Any references to the sources that describe such examples, be it case 
studies, business literature, web resources, would be greatly appreciated.

As customary, the integrated list of sources will be send back to the list.
