[AISWorld] MWAIS open positions: President-Elect and Treasurer

The Midwest Association for Information Systems (MWAIS) is seeking nominations for the President-Elect and Treasurer positions. This is a great opportunity to serve and demonstrate leadership.
MWAIS has been the proud recipient of the Outstanding Chapter Award since 2014. For more information, see below or visit the Chapter webpage at http://www.mwais.org, or contact Shana Ponelis (ponelis at uwm.edu) who is chairing this year's Nominations and Election Committee.
Nominations may be made by any MWAIS member eligible to vote by sending the name of the nominee and their contact details, preferably an official e-mail address, to the Nominations and Election Committee.
To be nominated, a person must be in good standing as a member of the AIS and a member of the MWAIS.
Please send nominations to Shana Ponelis (ponelis at uwm.edu) by no later than April 19.
Elections will be held at the 14th annual MWAIS conference at UW-Oshkosh, WI, on May 21-22, 2019 in accordance with the bylaws. You can learn more about the conference with the theme “Inclusiveness in the IT Talent Management Pipeline” at https://mwais2019.wordpress.com/. The reception will take place on the floor of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Museum. We hope to see you there!
DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT-ELECT (3-year term)

The President-Elect shall serve as a general assistant to the President and shall assume the office of President at the end of the term of office of the President. Duties of the President and Immediate Past President can be found in the Bylaws available on the MWAIS website at https://mwais.org/bylaws/.
DUTIES OF THE TREASURER (2-year term)
=================================
The Treasurer shall be the chief financial officer of the Chapter and shall perform all duties that pertain to the office of Treasurer and that may be assigned by the President and the Executive Board. The treasurer's primary duties shall be to:
* Maintain the financial records of the Chapter.
* Prepare an annual Financial Report for submission to the AIS Vice President of SIGs and Chapters.
