[AISWorld] A distinguished colleague Prof. Rory V. O'Connor has passed away.

Dear colleagues researchers in the Software Engineering discipline:

We regret the passing away of the distinguished researcher and Professor
Rory V. O'Connor, head and faculty of the School of Computing at Dublin
City University, Ireland. Prof. O'Connor was EiC of the journal Computers
Standards & Interfaces and participated in the ERB of several journals. He
was the Head of Delegation (for Ireland) to the international
standardization bodies ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 and ISO/IEC JTC1/SC40, and an
active member of the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7/ Working Group 24 on Lifecycle
Profiles for VSE (Very Small Enterprises), and he is considered
co-designer of the ISO/IEC 29110 standard. He was also a key organizer of
the EuroSPI conferences, and he was a Senior Researcher with Lero, The
Irish Software Research Centre. Prof. O'Connor was a very important
researcher, faculty and excellent human being.

His colleagues and friends regret it and express our public condolences to
