Job Description
Missouri University of Science and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla) Department of Business and Information Technology seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position beginning Fall 2020. Preferred teaching interests include information assurance, cybersecurity, and computer networking, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Interest in teaching other business/information systems (IS)/information technology (IT) courses such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and machine learning is also in line with the needs of the department.
The normal teaching load is two courses per semester. The candidate is expected to deliver high-quality instruction, publish high-quality research papers, participate in developing the undergraduate and graduate programs in the department, serve on department and campus committees and provide academic advising to students.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in IS/IT or a closely related field (ABD candidates with a definite completion date may be considered).
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited institution or an institution with equivalent or comparable accreditation to AACSB. Evidence of excellence in teaching courses at undergraduate and graduate levels: experience in teaching online or distance classes; commitment and demonstrable ability to be a productive researcher; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
