Hilti awards the most talented Master’s students in Information Systems, IT, and Management from Europe with a truly unique fellowship programme: The Hilti Fellowship is a combination of practical training at Hilti and academic learning at the University of Liechtenstein, designed to set the cornerstone for a successful future. As such, the Hilti Fellowship combines a stay abroad with a challenging work experience, and the possibility to continue and deepen your Master’s studies at the same time.
1 - GO ABROAD
You are invited to come to the Principality of Liechtenstein and spend five months in the beautiful alpine region of the Rhine Valley for both project work at Hilti and your Master’s studies at the University of Liechtenstein.
2 - ENTER AN INTERNSHIP
Hilti offers you the possibility to be part of an international project team in the field of global IT. The Hilti Fellowship is a paid internship; the salary covers the cost of living in Liechtenstein.
3 - CONTINUE YOUR MASTER’S STUDIES
You will have the opportunity to study for one semester in the Master’s Programme in Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein. You may also decide to write your Master’s thesis in the field of your Hilti project.
Students from various backgrounds have already taken part in the programme, which is now being organized for the 25th time, including students from the University of Muenster, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, the University of Koblenz-Landau, the LUISS University in Rome, the University of Turku, and the University of Verona. The selection follows a competitive review and assessment process. The Hilti Fellowship is primarily aimed at Master’s students from fields like information systems, business, and management; however, doctoral students and Bachelor’s students who will complete their studies in the near future and plan to pursue a Master’s degree in the following semester can also apply.

- Salary: The Hilti Fellowship is a paid internship; the salary covers the cost of living in Liechtenstein.
- Applicant profile: Master’s students in Information Systems, IT, and Management; Bachelor’s students in their last year; PhD students
- Eligibility: Because of visa regulations in Liechtenstein, the programme is open to EU/EEA and Swiss citizens.

ABOUT THE MASTER’S PROGRAMME
Students in the Master’s Programme in Information Systems acquire subject and method knowledge at the interface of computer science and business administration in a course of study that strongly promotes students’ personal development. The programme directly addresses the requirements of industry while at the same time providing a sound scientific education. Students also develop leadership and social skills in project seminars conducted with representatives of major companies.
