The MIS division at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma (OU), announces another  tenure-track Assistant Professor position for the Fall of 2020. This new MIS faculty position is to support the Price College Certificate in Business Intelligence and Analytics that will be open to all business undergraduate students. This certificate program will be offered as part of the Data Science and Analytics Institute at  the Gallogly College of Engineering at OU. We seek a person with strong research and technical background, who will help us develop and teach courses in this program for delivery in face-to-face and online formats. We prefer candidates that are willing to collaborate with faculty across disciplines, especially engineering and computer science.
Our strong and growing programs in the MIS division builds on a solid history of excellence, distinguished faculty members, and an active industry partnership through the Center for MIS Studies. Candidates must have an earned PhD in MIS or related disciplines, or ABD with dissertation to be defended by May 31, 2020.  Desirable qualifications include excellent research and teaching potential that align well with the Price college's strategic thrust in health, energy and aerospace and defense.
