On behalf of the COINS Steering and Program Committee we would like to
invite you to submit a contribution to the COINS Special Session on
European Projects on Intelligent Systems. COINS is the premier conference
devoted to omni-layer techniques for smart IoT systems, by identifying new
perspectives and highlighting impending research issues and challenges. The
aim of the special session is to bring together researchers of major just
started, on-going, or recently finished H2020 projects, in the broad area
of Intelligent Systems and other areas of interest of COINS, with the goal
of fostering cross-project collaboration, and disseminate the objectives,
results and challenges of the projects.

Authors willing to participate in this SS are invited to submit a regular
manuscript discussing the project goals, approach, problems to be
addressed, and current results. Papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted
contributions will appear on the conference proceedings. Should your
contribution be accepted to the SS you will be invited to give a talk
providing an overview of your European project.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
•Internet of Things (IoT): the edge to cloud continuum
•Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and advances analytics
•High-performance computing and cloud systems to enable novel intelligent
systems and IoT scenarios.

•Security and privacy in intelligent systems
