We are offering 2 options for IACIS 2020, face-to-face attendance in beautiful Nashville, Tennessee and virtual (online) attendance. In addition to the Call for Papers, Presentations, and Panels below, please visit our website for more information.

What to Submit
You are invited to share your research on the conference theme or other relevant IS and IT research with the educators and professionals attending the IACIS International Conference. Papers covering related academic and technical issues are also encouraged.

·         Full pedagogy/research papers

·         Abstracts

·         Panel presentation proposals
Submit only unpublished, original works. Proposals for workshops, panel presentations, and round table discussions should provide a general overview of the session's objectives and activities.

Publication Opportunity
All submissions are double-blind refereed. All high-marked full papers accepted in the review process will be fast-tracked for publication in Volume 21 of Issues in Information Systems, a publication of IACIS. Issues in Information Systems journal is a refereed, serial publication that is registered with the U.S. Library of Congress and listed in the Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management. All other accepted submissions will be published in the Conference Proceedings.



Conference Theme: Internet of Things (IoT)
The IACIS International Conference provides a showcase for the latest research in practice and pedagogical topics that focus on how information systems are used to support organizations or enhance the educational process. The theme of the 2020 IACIS conference is the Internet of Things (IoT). The IoT is the communication that occurs between a network of physical objects that feature an IP address for internet connectivity and Internet-enabled devices and systems. Some applications of IoT are security, privacy, inventory management, logistics and supply chain optimization, product flow monitoring, quality control, connected car, connected health (digital health/telehealth/telemedicine), industrial internet, smart city, smart farming, smart grids, smart home, smart retail, smart supply chain, and wearables among others. The IoT has been ranked as #1 in the top ten list of technologies that are perceived by technology industry leaders as having the greatest potential to drive future business transformation and long-term value.

Submission Deadline
In order to meet conference deadlines, all submissions MUST be submitted online by May 31, 2020.
Important: Please note that all submissions (full papers, extended abstracts, & abstracts) must be submitted by the deadline above in order to undergo the double blind, peer review process and be considered for publication in either the Issues in Information Systems (IIS), or the conference proceedings.
