The evolution and development of information systems and management systems
for Web are clearly important in the last years. In addition, the
complexity and needs of a higher quality of this kind of system is growing.
Consequently, advanced mechanisms are needed to improve the development of
these systems and improve the quality of the whole process. Research
groups have
worked in proposing new methods, techniques and tools
to achieve these goals. Model-driven engineering (MDE) is a well-known
paradigm to be used applying advanced techniques (Especially in web
environments
where is known as MDWE). This workshop is oriented to offer a site to
discuss advanced techniques, new tendencies, experiences of MDE applied on
Web environments, including advances in tools and enterprise experiences.

Papers accepted for this special session will be included in the conference
proceedings which will be published on book under an ISBN and CD-ROM and
also indexed by most of the major international indexes. All published papers
will be also available at the SciTePress Digital Library.

*Moreover, a selection of the best papers will be invited to submit an
extended version of the **paper to the **Special Issue on Advanced
Practices in Web Engineering of
the Journal of Web Engineering
<https://journals.riverpublishers.com/index.php/JWE/index>* *(JCR
Indexed, **Q3,
