We're in the process of preparing the first posting. The two tenure-track positions start in August. In particular, we're looking for experienced and proven senior assistant professors or early career associates. If you're interested, please drop me a note and I'll make sure to let you know when the position is posted. Please don't expect a response until then. Feel free to include a CV. It is not likely we will hire newly-minted PhDs for these positions, but may if we obtain any of the visiting positions for Fall '21 we have requested. We are also in the process of preparing a job posting for a visiting lecturer position for the Spring '21 semester which starts in January.
We have a great team of 25 full-time faculty members in the department. Enrollments at UNT, the Ryan College of Business, and the ITDS Department (https://cob.unt.edu/itds/) are all at record highs this semester. ITDS enrollments are up over 33% in the past year and over 63% in the past three. ITDS majors are up this semester over 34% YOY and over 84% in the past three, with undergrad majors up nearly 40% and master's almost 250%. Degrees we offer include a BS in IS and BBA in Business Analytics (BA) (both STEM), MBAs in both IS and BA (STEM), and an MS in BA (STEM) and our MS-IS (STEM) was approved by the State of Texas for enrollments starting Fall 2021. Our PhD program includes specializations in IS, Management Science, and Information Assurance. We have a great corporate Advisory Board too.
I hope all is good, safe, and healthy with all of our faculty colleagues and friends around the world and all of your loved ones too!
Best wishes,
Leon
