Boston College is recruiting for a tenured or tenure-track position in
Information Systems beginning Fall 2021. We are seeking candidates who
have a robust research agenda and a dedication to teaching excellence.
Faculty are sought to contribute to a successful and expanding
Information Systems department. Ideal candidates would be able to teach
one or more of the following: Introduction to IS, Database Systems,
Programming, Systems Analysis and Design, or Business Analytics. The
research interests of current department faculty can be found at

We seek individuals who can complement and strengthen the research focus
of our group, while adding to the atmosphere of collegiality and
openness to collaboration. We offer a stimulating environment, an
exceptional student body, an active and responsive alumni base, and
close ties to the Boston business and academic communities.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Information Systems or related
discipline, a demonstrated ability to conduct “A” journal quality
research, and evidence of teaching excellence (or the ability to develop
such excellence).
