[AISWorld] Senior Editor Dr. Tim Jacks for JGITM

Dear AISWorld colleagues,


As Editor in Chief (EIC) of the Journal of Global Information Technology
Management (JGITM), I am pleased to announce the addition of the new role
of a Senior Editor for the journal. Dr. Tim Jacks has been appointed in
this role and he, along with the EIC, will have full authority and
responsibility for making editorial decisions to accept papers to the
journal. Dr. Jacks has previously served as a Reviewer for the journal
since 2014 and as an Associate Editor since 2017. He is an Associate
Professor in the Department of Computer Management Information Systems at
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois, USA.
The full editorial board looks forward to his distinguished service for
many years to come.



JGITM is completing 23 years of publication and we are stronger than ever.
*JGITM* aims and scope, as included on the web site, state:



*“Besides quality work, at a minimum each submitted article should have the
following three components:  an IS (Information Systems) topic, an
international orientation (e.g., cross cultural studies or strong
international implications), and original research along with evidence
(e.g., survey data, case studies, secondary data, etc.).”*


We are also pleased to announce that the Impact Factor for JGITM was
upgraded in 2019 to 1.571. We hope you will consider submitting your
international IS research to JGITM. JGITM is a refereed international
journal that is supported by Global IT scholars from all over the world.
JGITM publishes articles related to all aspects of the application of
information technology that address international issues. More information
