[AISWorld] Call for Nominations/Self-Nominations for Digital Government Society Fellows

Dear Colleagues:



This year the Digital Government Society will honor up to two members as DGS Fellows to celebrate their distinguished scholarly achievements, sustained accomplishments, and contributions to the research or practice of digital government as a field of study.



The Society seeks your nominations and self-nominations for the award in 2021.  The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2020.  Conferral of awards will take place at the annual meeting of the Society in June, 2021 at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.



Criteria for selecting an individual to become a DGS Fellow include the following:


• Substantial scholarly contributions to the DG community and/or significant IT government experience with evidence of sufficiently broad interests in digital government contexts. Examples of evidence of these achievements: sustained scholarly contributions through publications, dissemination of research and development results, curriculum design in digital government, government practice.

 • Demonstrated concern for the advancement of the digital government community, usually by authoring published material and/or by selection as a leader of professional societies related to digital government.

 • Adherence to the highest ethical standards for research and the use of IT in public management contexts.

• Willingness and ability to contribute to the work of the DG Society.
