***Mid-Career Workshop***

Call for Participation: last slots available and agenda online

A workshop for mid-career faculty, by mid-career faculty!

Tenured? Wondering about the next steps in your career? At a crossroads in your career? Thinking about seeking an administrative post? or leading a research center or taking on leadership roles in the academic community? Then the AIS Mid-Career workshop is for you!

The ideal workshop participant is an academic who is at a mid-point in their academic career and who would appreciate advice and information about different career options after tenure.

The workshop will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020. In an attempt to enable everyone to participate wherever they are in the world the program combines recorded panels and synchronous breakout sessions that are convenient for different time zones. More information are available on the ICIS 2020 conference page:

https://icis2020.aisconferences.org/events/mid-career-faculty-workshop/

Consistently with the theme of the ICIS 2020 conference “Making Digital Inclusive: Blending the Local and the Global”, the workshop will focus on the opportunities and challenges for IS scholars to undertake an active engagement with their local, global community or both. Panel members and facilitators will share their nuanced views from different regions, institutions and career paths.
