SKEMA Business School welcomes applications to its Ph.D. program. The PhD in Business Administration at SKEMA is a selective, fully funded, four-year, full-time program. The program is designed to provide doctoral students with a solid education in areas needed to carry out cutting-edge theoretical and empirical research. All the courses and seminars are held in English. Successful graduates will receive a Ph.D. degree from SKEMA Business School and a French state doctoral degree from the Université Côte d'Azur.

The program selects highly qualified applicants with strong research potential. Candidates should hold a master's degree (or be close to completion). All candidates are supported by a combination of scholarships and appointments as research assistants. The financial support is sufficient to cover living expenses. Tuition fees are waived. SKEMA also provides financial support for conferences and visiting stays at other research institutions.

Our faculty members are top-notch scholars of the international research community and publish regularly in top-tier academic journals. Our seminar program is very rich and enables students to meet other top researchers from around the world. This lively research environment prepares students for the academic job market by providing them the skills necessary to teach in top business schools and publish in leading academic journals.

We have at least three professors who can supervise candidates in MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS:

* Nabila BOUKEF is Associate Professor on the Lille campus. Her current research project revolves around the outcomes of mediated collaboration, dispersed teams and enterprise social media use and impacts. Her research competencies include qualitative methods, quantitative methods and social network analysis.

* Lapo Mola is Associate Professor on the Sophia Antipolis Campus. His current research projects include the impact of Information Infrastructures (such as ERP, Business Intelligence systems, E-commerce platforms) on organization design and inter-organizational relationships; institutional change and institutional logics. His research competencies focus on qualitative and theory-building methods.

* Professor Chitu Okoli, PhD, HDR (Paris campus). His primary research areas are currently data science and artificial intelligence for social science research; theory development with literature review methodology; and open content (free and open source software, Wikipedia, etc.). His research competencies include both quantitative methods (such as data mining and multivariate statistical analyses) and qualitative methods (such as the Delphi method and theory-building with literature reviews), as well as mixed qualitative-quantitative methods. He is an associate editor of the Journal of the Association for Information Systems. A full profile is at https://is.gd/oTaqIH.

Since SKEMA is a multi-campus business school, accepted candidates will be located on the campus of their supervisor. This program cannot be done on a part-time basis, that is, students are expected to be on the campus on a regular basis.
