The Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in ***Digital Health Management*** at the rank of Associate or Full Professor commencing on July 1st, 2021.
***Title of position***: Digital Health Management at the rank of Associate or Full Professor.

***Duties***:
*Teaching activities*: The candidate should be interested and able to teach in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Analytics, and Health Systems Management at the undergraduate, professional, graduate (MSc and/or Ph.D.) levels, and engage in supervision of graduate students. Experience in collaboration with the health care industry and health care agencies, curriculum development and program delivery in digital health, as well as mentorship to students engaged in health systems research, may be considered assets.
*Scholarly activities*: The candidate should demonstrate: a solid track record of publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals in Health Informatics and/or Information Systems; a successful track record of research proposals to external granting agencies; an established research program in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or other domains that contribute to the study of digital health systems.
*Academic service activities as agreed with the Dean.
***Requirements***:
*Education*: Ph.D. in Health Informatics, Information Systems, or other related management disciplines with a demonstrated expertise in digital health.
*Language*: English and/or French. The ability to teach in both official languages is an asset.
***Work experience***:
** high-potential research program as demonstrated by articles published in high quality and high impact peer-reviewed journals in the area of Health Informatics, Information Systems, and Health Care Management. Applicants are also expected to be able to demonstrate a track record of success in attracting competitive research funding and active engagement in the research community.
*Strong teaching competency at the undergraduate, professional, MSc and/or Ph.D. levels as demonstrated by past teaching record and evaluations.
*Experience in graduate and/or postdoctoral student supervision as evidenced by having a record of graduating and publishing with students.

***Salary and Benefits Package***:
Salaries are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience where Associate Professor salaries typically range between $140,000 and $166,000 per year and Full Professors salaries range between $165,000 and $201,000 per year. The University of Ottawa provides a complete and generous compensation package which includes long-term disability, basic group life insurance, supplementary health insurance, a University of Ottawa defined benefits pension plan, optional life insurance and funds for reimbursement of eligible moving expenses. The School also offers a start-up period with a reduced teaching load and start-up funding for research.
The Telfer School of Management has obtained accreditation from all three major international sanctioning bodies: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA. The school comprises more than 90 full-time faculty members and approximately 4,200 students enrolled.
