[AISWorld] Help finding IS research on gender/race-ethnicity categories in software

Colleagues,
I am conducting a study on bio/demographic data fields designed into (or excluded from) fields within software web forms.  While I am aware of studies focused on the implications of categorization more broadly, I am struggling to find IS research that looks at biographical/demographic categories in particular.  If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate hearing from you.
