*Call for Papers*: Theory Building in Information Systems with Big
Data-Driven Research

*Scope in brief*: The special issue is interested in studies that use
advanced applications of big data analytics for mining unstructured data
like text, images and networks and thereby contributes to theory building
in management information systems. These big data sources could be primary
or secondary, but after mining the data, it is envisioned that theoretical
contributions will be developed which contributes back towards information
systems management. A robust methodology surrounding big data analytics
coupled with statistical models should allow validation of theoretical
models proposed in these studies more objectively, whereever possible. For
