The IS Ph.D. program at Kent State University has one remaining opening for
its Fall 2021 cohort. Highly qualified individuals are encouraged to
contact me directly at gpolites at kent.edu for further information prior to
submitting their application.

We offer a competitive stipend, with no teaching required in the first two
years of study. Each student is assigned a faculty mentor upon arrival
based on their research interests; rotating mentorships allow students to
gain exposure to a broad range of perspectives prior to beginning their
dissertation.

We have a diverse faculty conducting research at the individual, group, and
organizational levels of analysis using a wide range of analytical
techniques. Faculty in our department (which includes IS/Analytics, OB/HR,
and Strategy) regularly publish in top journals such as *MIS
Quarterly*, *Journal
of the AIS*, *European Journal of Information Systems*, and the *Information
Systems Journal*, as well as *Academy of Management Review*, *Strategic
Management Journal*, *Journal of Applied Psychology*, *Personnel Psychology*,
and the *Journal of Finance*.

We currently offer undergraduate programs in both CIS and Analytics, and
well as a Masters degree in Analytics. The PhD coursework at both the
college and concentration levels has been substantially revamped for Fall
2021; please contact me for details since our website does not yet show the
new information.
