   The College of Academic Leadership (CAL) is an organization founded by AIS as an international group of administrative heads responsible for university-level colleges, schools, institutes and departments for Information Systems. The various activities of CAL are to promote the exchange of professional communications among administrative leaders responsible for education on Information Systems in both private and public university-level institutions.
   As part of the social media strategy for CAL, a Linked-In page has been launched (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13942668/) in support of several CAL activities including:
1. Providing a forum for administrative leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest;
2. Providing an opportunity for the exchange of ideas with member counterparts;
3. Identifying programs and conferences for the benefit of members which are focused on administrative leadership; and
4. Providing a means for critical examination of the problems and opportunities associated within information systems educational administration.
   The goal of this Linked-In page is to create a network and community of practice around the academic administration done by those in the Information Systems field. The page is moderated by AIS CAL Executive members, who welcome member posts that support the four goals above. The basic rule of thumb is that if it is about universities and their leadership, it is appropriate for this forum.
   We would like to invite and welcome academic administrators from the Information Systems discipline to this forum and encourage them to invite others to join this community of practice in academic administration. Equally, we would invite those interested in these roles to freely give to and take from the site. Finally, we would like to thank all those who choose academic administration for their service, their dedication and their leadership.
